Since our inception, the Schererville Wastewater Treatment Plant has seen 8 major upgrades to the facility in order to attain our present capacity of 8.75 MGD. The necessity for so many upgrades is due to the explosive growth in both the communities of Schererville and St. John as well as the surrounding area. It is Schererville and St. John's combined commitment to remain proactive to the needs of our communities.
