The Schererville Parks Foundation is chartered by the Town of Schererville.  All Directors of the Parks Foundation are volunteers and are appointed to staggered terms by the Schererville Town Council. 

The Parks Foundation is a not-for-profit fundraising organization with the goal of augmenting and promoting the growth of parks and green spaces throughout the Town of Schererville.  The Parks Foundation advocates the preservation of open spaces within the community and looks to enhance lifestyles through projects such as creation of the Perry Ferrini Dog Park, restoration of the histroic Hilbrich log cabin and development of the Richard Teibel Nature Preserve. 

The Parks Foundation is a tax exempt 501 (c)(3) organization and a 509(a)(3) supporting organization.  All donations to the Parks Foundation are fully deductible to the exent allowed by the law.  The Parks Foundation will continue to solicit property and financial donations for future green spaces within the Town of Schererville.  If you would like more information or wish to make a donation to the Schererville Parks Foundation, please visit our website at www.scherervilleparksfoundation.org.
