Gymnastics

Preschool Gymnastics

Monday 12:30-1:15pm – Preschool Gymnastics (ages 4-5).  During this program your child will have a chance to practice and perfect skills in different areas in the gym; spring floor, Tumbl Trak, bars, balance beam, and trampoline. This class is ideal for learning gymnastics, increasing flexibility, strength, and coordination. We require all parents to sign a PAA membership waiver form their child. Apparel - Comfortable clothing. Girls, leotard are preferred (no skirts attached please) boys, shorts and t-shirt are preferred. No pockets zippers or buttons and shorts. and clean tennis shoes. Participants are required to wear gymnastics shoes at Patti’s for $24.61. Minimum requirement to start class – four students.

School-Age Gymnastics

Wednesday 3:45-4:45pm – School-Age Gymnastics (ages 5-10). Dance

Tuesday 4:30-5:00pm - Hip Hop Class (ages 6-10). Ideal for boys and girls, this class is designed for any child interested in what is called “music video” dance. Hip-Hop is a combination of jazz and funk combined with the technique such as pop-and-lock. This class is designed for your child to burn lots of energy while learning choreographed hip hop dance moves.  We require all parents to sign a PAA membership waiver form their child. Apparel - Comfortable clothing and clean tennis shoes. Minimum requirement to start class – four students.

4:30-5pm, 1/10 through 1/31 - $60

4:30-5pm, 2/7 through 2/28 -$60

4:30-5pm, 3/7 through 3/28 -$60

Tuesday 5:00pm-5:30pm – Ballet (ages 4-8). This ballet class includes work at the barre, across the floor, and center work. Your child will learn the five basic positions of feet and arms, along with various turns, jumps, etc... This class is great way for child to learn the discipline that dancers have in a fun and exciting way. We require all parents to sign a PAA membership waiver form their child.

Apparel - Comfortable clothing (leotard preferred but not necessary) and socks or ballet shoes (ballet shoes can be purchased at Patti’s All-American but not necessary). Minimum requirement to start class – four students.

KinderMusik

Village – age newborn-2 yrs. Old with parent/caregiver Min/Max: 5/8

Village introduce sign language, multiple levels of activities appropriate for the different stages of development in this age range. Parent/caregiver participation is required.


Hickory, Dickory, Tickle and Bounce – And - The Rhythm of My Day 13 Week Session

Hickory, Dickory, Tickle and Bounce is focused on further feeding a baby’s language development through the rhythmic nature of nursery rhymes. You and your child will also discover plenty of implied movement activities throughout the semester with many additional movement concepts – like up and down – incorporated into the literature book. (7 Weeks)

The Rhythm of My Day: With an introduction to sign language and highlighted by the concept of a family’s daily rituals and routines, The Rhythm of My Day is designed to help parents incorporate music into many of the regular routines found throughout their daily life. (6 Weeks)

Materials Fee: $70 (2 Cds, 2 picture books, 2 instruments, 4 art banners) payable to instructor first day of class or sooner.

Our Time – age 2 – 3 ½ yrs. Old with parent/caregiver, Min. enrollment 5/Max enrollment 8 13 Week Session

Children learn through sign language, interaction with materials, adults, other children and their environmental space.  Parent/caregiver participation is required.

Fiddle-dee-dee: Creatures of the animal kingdom, whether furry, web-footed, hoofed, winged, or whiskered, are the subject matter for Fiddle-Dee-Dee. Animal sounds, which are so appealing to children, naturally prompt imitation and provide abundant active listening and vocal play material. In the context of moving like animals, we will focus on concepts such as high, low, smooth, bumpy, fast, and slow. On the At Home CDs, you will hear a clear emphasis on the stringed instrument family, with instruments such as the mandolin, banjo, lute, classical and folk guitar, harp, string quartet, and double bass. 13 Week Session
