NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE
Where: Main Street from US Highway 41 to Calumet Avenue
When: February 6, 2026 and February 9, 2026
Purpose: Road closure-Nipsco electric project
Main Street will be closed on Friday February 6, 2026 and again on Monday February 9, 2026 from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM from US Highway 41 to Calumet Avenue. NIPSCO Electric will be performing electrical upgrades to the area.
Local traffic is encouraged to avoid the work area.
All road work is weather dependent.
All traffic is encouraged to plan ahead in using alternate roadways to avoid the work zone whenever possible. See detour plan for additional details.
