A Grinchy Griswold Christmas
Friday, November 29th, 2pm-6pm
Schererville Community Center
At 2pm, watch in awe as the Grinch makes his dramatic entrance—arriving on a FIRE TRUCK!
Upon arrival he’ll meet the lovable Aunt Bethany at the flagpole for a heartwarming moment, continuing the Griswold tradition of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance — yes, it’s a thing!
Families will have a blast meeting all their favorite holiday characters:
Elf on the Shelf
Pokémon
Stitch
Olaf
Minions
Jack Skellington & Oogie Boogie
… and many more surprises!
Free cocoa and cookies will be served to keep everyone warm and cheerful, and to meet the Grinch up close, we kindly ask that you bring one canned good
for our Holiday Help Drive or one pet item
for the Holiday Pet Pantry, benefiting Schererville Animal Control.
As the clock strikes 6pm, the Grinch will take the Christmas star*
and lead his new friends and families on a joyful procession down Joliet St. to Schererville Town Hall, celebrating the debut and return of the Schererville Tree Lighting
! Spread holiday cheer through caroling
and laughter as they light up the night and begin the town's festive season.
