CodeRED Online Signup Information
Schererville has joined with OnSolve to launch our version of their CodeRED Notification System.
CodeRED is an alert system designed to inform the public of emergency situations such as boil water alerts, hazardous traffic conditions, water main breaks, missing child reports, and other emergency situations. These alerts will arrive via calls and text messages. "General Notifications", which comprise alerts regarding upcoming Town events and available programs, are also available. CodeRED allows residents to adjusting the account settings at any time. If you would like to opt-out of the service, please contact us so we can add you to a do not call list. Click here to enroll in our CodeRED Notification System.
Residents home address can be chosen with the placement marker on the map. Some alerts will be sent out based on residents geographic locations. The blue marker on the mini-map can be manually moved for a more precise location.
Various notifications can be chosen. "Emergency notifications" is a default/required selection. These can be modified at any time by logging into your account and checking or unchecking the boxes.
One phone number must be in the system to proceed with registration. Additional phone numbers or emails can be added or removed at will.
