Animal Control Seeking Donations For Remodel:
Schererville Animal Control is currently remodeling its building in order to better accommodate the staff, animals, and the community. During the construction, an adjacent unused room will be converted to increase the size of the facility. Improvements will include paint, flooring, storage, electrical and plumbing upgrades, as well as HVAC improvements.
The Animal Control staff are committed to the animals while trying to find them new homes. These upgrades will create an improved experience for future pet owners wishing to adopt a new family member.
The Town of Schererville is asking for donations to help fund these improvements. Your donation can be made at the Clerk Treasurers Office located at 10 E. Joliet Street. Please specify that your donation is to be applied to the improvements at Animal Control. The Animal Control Staff and animals “Thank you” for your generosity.
