Adult Programs

Schererville Parks Department offers several events for Adults year round. Our softball leagues continue to be popular, but other programs are available as well. A new upcoming one is the Indiana Master Naturalist program, focusing on learning more about the environment and natural resources of the Indiana. WOODEN WONDERS: WOOD FLORAL CUP

Monday, July 30 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Schererville Community Center

Feeling Crafty?!? This unique floral teacup craft will be sure to fulfill the DIY crafting you crave. Each participant will get to create their own arrangement of wooden florals and place in a tea-cup and saucer. Tea Party refreshments will be served as well. All materials are included. Instructor is Jennifer Bustamante.

Pucks "N" Paints

Monday, October 8 at 6PM-8:30PM

Blackhawks fans this one is for YOU! It's the start of a new season! Show your Hawks pride with this ADULT PAINTING CLASS. Hockey favorites like hot dogs, nachos, and more will be provided at this class. All materials are provided with the fee!

ADULT CO-ED SAND VOLLEYBALL

Players will enjoy a night out for 8 weeks of exercise and fun!  Each team (beginner/intermediate level) will consist of 6-8 players (equal gender ratio).  Please register all team players with (1) designated contact person.  Each participant must sign a waiver and release before start of games.  Each registered player will receive a T-shirt.  End of the season tournament awards include $75 for 1st place and $50 for 2nd place.
