Volunteers and Donations

  • If you are interested in volunteering some time at the Animal Shelter, please contact Pete Sormaz at (219)322-5000, ext. 2324. The animals would love to have you around.
  • Everyone at Schererville Animal Control would like to thank you all for the wonderful and generous donations that we continue to recieve. We have a wish list of items that we can always use. If you would like to donate new or used items please feel free to contact us at 219-322-5000 Ext. 2355 and we can arrange a time for you to drop them off or gladly pick them up if need be. Donations may also be dropped off at the Schererville Police Department as well. Any monetary donations can be made at the Schererville Police Department during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm. Again we are very appreciative and grateful for any and all donations.
